Gerd Rode und Konrad L\u00fcnswilken kandidieren im Wahlbereich 3, zu dem die Samtgemeinde S\u00f6gel und Werlte geh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gerd Rode, B\u00fcrgermeister der Gemeinde Stavern, ist seit 2021 Mitglied des Kreistages des Landkreises Emsland. Bereits von 2011 bis 2016 geh\u00f6rte er dem Kreistag an. Der 68-j\u00e4hrige Pension\u00e4r engagiert sich seit rund 40 Jahren kommunalpolitisch in seiner Heimatgemeinde Stavern sowie im Samtgemeinderat S\u00f6gel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Konrad L\u00fcnswilken, 62 Jahre alt, ist seit 2021 B\u00fcrgermeister der Gemeinde Spahnharrenst\u00e4tte. Auch er verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber langj\u00e4hrige kommunalpolitische Erfahrung. Neben seiner T\u00e4tigkeit im Rat seiner Heimatgemeinde geh\u00f6rt er ebenfalls dem Samtgemeinderat S\u00f6gel an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beide Kandidaten betonen, dass sie ihre Aufgaben parteipolitisch unabh\u00e4ngig wahrnehmen und sich mit Nachdruck f\u00fcr die Interessen des H\u00fcmmlings sowie der Samtgemeinden S\u00f6gel und Werlte im Kreistag einsetzen werden.
