In all ihren schillernden Farben und wunderlichen Formen sind Insekten f\u00fcr die Natur unverzichtbar. Dabei ist unsere Reaktion auf sie nicht immer gleich: Vor Maden und W\u00fcrmern ekelt es uns, Schmetterlinge bestaunen wir f\u00fcr ihre Sch\u00f6nheit. Inspiriert von den Metamorphosenbildern der Naturforscherin Maria Sibylle Merian (1647\u20131717) setzt sich die K\u00fcnstlerin Joos van de Plas in ihrem Werk intensiv mit den Insekten und ihrer Verwandlung auseinander. Dagegen steht auf den Keramiken von Sonngard Marcks das Flattern und Krabbeln im Vordergrund. Die Anspielung an barocke Schaugerichte wie dem Mei\u00dfener Porzellan von Kurf\u00fcrst Clemens August bietet uns neue Perspektiven f\u00fcr die Welt, die uns umgibt. Welche Rolle spielen wir?
