Mai gefeiert. Bei einem gemeinsamen Rundgang mit den politischen Verantwortlichen der Gemeinde S\u00f6gel, Mitgliedern des F\u00f6rderkreises Waldbad S\u00f6gel, der Schwimmabteilung SV Sigiltra S\u00f6gel und des H\u00fcmmlinger Tauchclubs wurde das Waldbad und seine M\u00f6glichkeiten in Augenschein genommen. Dabei pr\u00e4sentierten die \u00f6rtlichen Vereine jeweils direkt im Wasser die neuen M\u00f6glichkeiten \u2013 ein Schauwettkampf im Schwimmen, Spr\u00fcnge vom 3- und 1-Meter-Turm und ein Tauchgang zweier Sportler des Tauchclubs mit kompletter Ausr\u00fcstung. Badleiter Daniel K\u00f6tter und die Vertreter Planungsb\u00fcro Thalen Consult aus Zetel freuten sich sichtlich \u00fcber die bevorstehende Er\u00f6ffnung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B\u00fcrgermeister Johannes V\u00f6lker dankte Connemann herzlich: \u201eOhne die F\u00f6rdergelder vom Bund in H\u00f6he von rund 2,3 Millionen Euro aus dem Bundesprogramm \u201aSanierung kommunaler Einrichtungen in den Bereichen Sport, Jugend und Kultur vom Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Wohnen Stadtentwicklung und Bauwesen\u2018 h\u00e4tten wir diese Aufgabe nicht schultern k\u00f6nnen.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dazu Parlamentarische Staatssekret\u00e4rin Gitta Connemann: \u201eDer Zuschuss des Bundes ist gut angelegtes Geld. F\u00fcr unsere Heimat. F\u00fcr Familien. F\u00fcr Sicherheit. Denn immer weniger Kinder k\u00f6nnen schwimmen. Die DLRG geht davon aus, dass 6 von 10 Kindern am Ende der Grundschulzeit nicht oder nicht sicher schwimmen k\u00f6nnen. Viele B\u00e4der wurden in den vergangenen Jahren geschlossen. Nicht so in S\u00f6gel! Hier hat die Politik den Mut, entgegen dem Trend dieses gro\u00dfe Projekt anzugehen und zu meistern. Schwimmen lernen hei\u00dft im Ernstfall Leben retten. Gut, dass dieses Waldbad saniert werden konnte und somit M\u00e4dchen und Jungen sicher schwimmen lernen k\u00f6nnen.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Text\/Foto: Gemeinde
