Noch bis zum 14. Dezember zeigt das Emslandmuseum Schloss Clemenswerth die Ausstellung \u201eGejagt, geliebt, gef\u00fcrchtet \u2013 Von Menschen und Tieren\u201c. Die Schau spannt einen Bogen von barocker Tierdarstellung bis zur zeitgen\u00f6ssischen k\u00fcnstlerischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Tier \u2013 als Partner, Spiegel, Mythos und Opfer des Menschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Museumsleiterin Dr. Christiane Kuhlmann betonte bei der Er\u00f6ffnung: \u201eDiese Ausstellung ist ein echtes Gemeinschaftswerk.\u201c K\u00fcnstlerinnen, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeitende, das Museumsteam, Ehrenamtliche und sogar Grundsch\u00fclerinnen trugen bei \u2013 Letztere humorvoll durch das Z\u00e4hlen der Tierdarstellungen. Jagdtroph\u00e4en, dekorative Reliefs und Tierportr\u00e4ts illustrieren die enge Verbindung zwischen Mensch und Tier im 18. Jahrhundert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00dcber 300 Tiere aller Art begegnen den Besuchern \u2013 von Hirschen und Wildschweinen \u00fcber Hunde, Pferde, W\u00f6lfe bis hin zu exotischen Tieren wie L\u00f6wen und Drachen. \u201eEs ist eine Eremitage der Tiere\u201c, beschreibt Kuhlmann die Vielfalt und zitiert dabei ihren Vorg\u00e4nger Wagner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Ausstellung fragt auch: Wie betrachten wir Tiere heute? Vierzehn zeitgen\u00f6ssische K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstler beleuchten das Thema mit Fotografie, Film und Skulptur. Hellen van Meene zeigt in \u201eDogs and Girls\u201c Hunde und M\u00e4dchen gleichberechtigt nebeneinander. Charlotte Dumas dokumentiert die freilebenden Yonaguni-Ponys auf Japanischen Inseln, w\u00e4hrend Greta Alfaro in \u201eIn Ictu Oculi\u201c menschliche Ma\u00dflosigkeit durch Geier \u00fcber einem Bankett kritisch reflektiert. Ein besonders eindrucksvolles Highlight ist die monumentale Skulptur \u201eTarzan\u201c von Johannes Gramm in der Schlossallee \u2013 die gr\u00f6\u00dfte begehbare Tarzan-Figur der Welt. Sie thematisiert den Mythos des \u201evon Tieren aufgezogenen Menschen\u201c und l\u00e4dt zur Reflexion \u00fcber die menschliche Beziehung zur Natur ein.
